Condensing the anger within

By Anupreeta Chatterjee

Every year, a new revolutionary

Is born with a vision inside me

Radical and beyond chivalry.

But this year would be different.

There would be revolution within

But I would not submit to unnecessary conflicts.

I know love has a deeper meaning

And my angst shall melt down within.

My intimacy with myself is the richest

Religion which I would follow.

My associative narrative will get

A meaning which would not be shallow.

I would give up on my pains

And focus on positivity.

With a new zeal,

I would work with rationality

Without compromising on my emotional intelligibility.
