Ananya Saini
The sand was slipping through her fingers,
She couldn't hold the petals together.
Bad blood leaked from her heart,
The wounds just got deeper and deeper.
Unfamiliar voices echoed in her head,
Marked by the stigma of failure.
Her dreams withered and crumbled,
Band aids failed to hold her together.
Pitiful tears stained her cheeks,
And there were flaws in her code.
Hidden behind the veil of hopelessness,
All she could see was shades of grey.
So she slit her wrists and let herself bleed away,
Until she could feel her misery fade away.
