Beauty of Winter

By Jasmehar Kaur
You need to believe that winters are never dead, they are never lifeless, they are a phase of renewal, the going of the old, the coming and the budding of new babies in the upcoming springs of life.
When you believe, you see miracles , flowers blooming all around basking in the warmth of the winter sun. They Glow in the ethereal template of the world.
Giving us consistent hope that we all will survive through the "winters" in our lives, winter of distress and melancholy will come off revealing an aesthetic garb of seamless beauty and conjured patterns.
Tis' the season of shedding, shedding of old leaves, old skin, old roots, old issues and old routine transcending the best version of all. Freshening and harnessing the lifeline we breathe from the wicked pollution maligning our well being.
Grimacing at this earth just as those cheerful yellow flowers gleam on all ends of the spectrum, to life's reciprocal of miseries comes ultimate euphoria.
A savior , A savior, A savior my winter song goes praising it's immortal might.

  • Very inspiring piece of work Jasmehar. I think we all can relate to this at some point of time. The time when we almost gave up, were on our lowest and then we picked ourselves up, started all over again and invested in ourselves. With every winter we face, we survive, we become a better version of ourself. Thanks for reminding us. Beautifully written.
