A Power In Your Imagination

Daydream: Let your thoughts speak,
Of a vast white desert made of salt,
Uncountable grains that exist before thee,
The lack of logic, is not at fault.
Walk slowly, might your feet not sink,
For there awaits you, a palace made of ice,
Lo and behold, in a blink,
Appears a chariot before you,  driven by mice.
Now as you sit, the chariot moves,
And thus starts, your good travel,
Over the grains of salt, tread the mice with hooves,
And you look at this absurdity with a bit of cavil.
Please disembark the chariot, it has stopped,
Welcome to your destination!
Lies before you, a spectacle that cannot be topped,
A house of ice, second to no creation.
You walk towards the door, hand extended,
Few seconds left between you and the icy bolt,
Suddenly a snap , you're not where you intended,
An escaped college lecture, thanks to your imagination's revolt.
