Eeva Maria al-Khazaali is a Finnish poet currently living in the north of the country, in the City of Oulu. Her feminist, auto-fictional works have been enthusiastically received by both critics and readers. Eeva’s poetry focuses on the possibilities of language and especially on expressing emotions. Her second collection of poems, That I Would Dream About It, has been published in English in the United States. Eeva is currently writing her fourth book, Dakota, a rich and multilayered long poem about an anarchist, world traveler and squatter, and about the loss of friendship. She has studied Creative Writing in Orivesi College of Arts, Performing Arts in University of Bedfordshire and Film Studies in University of Wolverhampton. She enjoys vast amounts of coffee, travelling with a disposable Kodak and has been keeping a diary since she was a kid.

Program Description: We are hosting a special program at our newly launched studio. 30 participating poets will be offered a workshop in poetry. They will produce one work of poetry during this program which will be featured on the Delhi Poetry Slam website. 

The participants will also receive merit certificates and become a member of our society, receiving opportunities for future paid gigs and collaborations.

The program fee is 2000 rupees.
